A story shaped
by resilience

I am a first-generation college student, born in Paraguay and raised in New York after immigrating to the United States at age seven. I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a Cybersecurity minor at Florida Atlantic University, focusing on penetration testing, system assurance, and identifying vulnerabilities that impact real-world infrastructure.

During my freshman year, I interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, gaining early exposure to public service, professional communication, and the weight of handling sensitive information in high-accountability environments.

"Security is most powerful when it's invisible. Until you need it."

For the past three years, I have worked with CLEAR across Miami and New York, managing ambassador teams, overseeing gate operations at airports and arenas, and completing a corporate GRC internship where I built an AI-powered Slack bot that reduced threat monitoring workload by 30%, updated NIST 800-53B controls, and conducted malware analysis using Joe Sandbox.

As a Cybersecurity Tech Fellow at CodePath, I mentored 25+ students through a 10-week CTF-style program covering cryptography, Linux, password cracking, malware detection, and social engineering. I trained students on CyberChef, John the Ripper, Shodan, VirusTotal CLI, and the Social Engineering Toolkit.

At FAU I served as Co-Chair of SHPEtinas, leading events, partnering with industry speakers, and building community around mentorship and professional growth for Latina women in STEM. I am also the only undergraduate on a graduate H4D team developing UAV multisensor fusion for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

My journey as an immigrant, student, and aspiring cybersecurity professional has shaped my resilience, discipline, and sense of purpose. These are things I bring into every environment I enter.
